facilities​

At Fljótstunga Residency we offer 7 cottages with 2 to 4 beds. All cottages have WC, cooking facilities and a small seating area. Some have private shower. You can see more info on our cottages under our eco-friendly tourism page.

The common space has a larger kitchen, dinning, seating area and small exhibition space. It is also where residents have access to basic wifi and an open working space.

The farm is a 20km2 land with lava fields, rivers, hills, lakes and views of glaciers. Read more about the farm

Linen

Residents can bring their own linen and towels but have the option of renting them from Fljótstunga for 5.000 ISK.

Cleaning

All residents are asked to take care of and clean the cottages during their stay and before departing. If your cottage is not properly clean and prepared for the next residenct you will be charged a 10.000 ISK fee.
