This is a small cottage with a comfortable and big double bed. It has a also a sofa that can be turned into a bunk-bed. Additionally it has a small kitchen corner with fridge, small stove and basic kitchenware. It has a private WC and shares a shower house with 2 other cabins.

the story

These cottages were originally located​

down by Norðlingafljót river as

cabins for the fishermen. Later they

were moved to the farm and now

serve as cute little cottages for travelers

from all over the world.

 

the name

Hóll is the Icelandic word for a small

knoll. In Iceland it is common to walk

over a lot of 'hólar' and 'hæðir' (knolls

and hills)!
